Service Description
Looking for a morning class that meets you exactly where you are? Whether you’re brand new to clay, building on your foundational skills, or ready to work independently on personal projects, our Mixed Levels 8-Week Class is designed to support and challenge you — no matter your experience level. Co-taught by studio founder and 20-year ceramics educator Molly Sanyour and long-time studio team member Drew Sawyer, this course blends the curriculums of Clay 101, Clay 102, and Clay 103 in one class. We’ll start each class together, then break into small groups by level: Clay 101 track – For beginners ready to learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing, hand-building, trimming, and glazing. Clay 102 track – For returning students looking to explore new techniques, refine skills, and develop personal projects with guidance. Clay 103 track – For experienced students who have completed at least two 8-week classes at our studio, confident in all core skills, and ready to spend the entire 8 weeks focused on an independent body of work. 💡 Want to see what’s covered each week? Check out our Clay 101, Clay 102, and Clay 103 pages for the full weekly curriculums. What’s Included: Personalized, level-specific instruction from Molly & Drew All clay, tools, glazes, and firings for class projects Personal shelf space for work-in-progress Sunday Open Studio access (12–2 PM) Drop-in access to ANY other 8-week class for make-ups or extra practice (Note: Instruction happens during your enrolled class time. Drop-ins are independent work time.) We provide all materials for the course. Our focus is on skill-building, personal expression, and creative growth — not production pottery. Outside clay and glazes are not permitted. Whether you’re starting fresh, leveling up your skills, or ready to create a focused personal collection, this class will meet you where you are — and help you grow from there!
