Payment: The total course fee is $650, split into two payments: a $325 non-refundable deposit at registration and the remaining $325 charged at the start of the course. Refunds: No refunds will be issued within 72 hours of the first class. 2. Materials Clay: One bag of clay is included. Additional clay is available for purchase. Clay Bodies & Glazes: We provide midrange white clay bodies (with/without grog and speckled) and a variety of underglazes and studio dipping glazes. Firing fees are included in the class cost to cover class projects. Shelf Space: Each student is allotted approximately 2'x2' space within their class’s shelving unit for work-in-progress. Items left after the last class will be removed. 3. Cancellations By Participant: Refunds are available for cancellations made more than 72 hours before the first class, but only for the second payment. By Studio: If the studio cancels a class, participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another session. 4. Studio Policies Respect: Respect each other, your neighbors, and the studio. Clean your workspace, follow guidance, and handle materials responsibly. Health & Safety: Closed-toe shoes, tied-back hair, and the removal of jewelry are required. Behavior: Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the class without a refund. 5. Student Enrollment Enrollment includes access to open studio time on Sundays from 12 PM–2 PM for make-up classes or extra practice. Students are also welcome to drop in during other 8-week classes, where they can work independently alongside the instructor-led class. 6. Perks and Next Steps When memberships open, completion of at least one series of our 8-week classes will be a prerequisite for consideration. This ensures that you are familiar with our studio processes before applying for membership. 7. Project Pickup Projects are completed and ready for pickup during the 8th class, which includes a class celebration, critique, clean-out, and an introduction to the next steps for continuing your ceramics journey. 8. Photography and Recordings By participating in our classes, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded during your time in the studio. These materials may be used for marketing, educational purposes, social media, and promotional activities.
