Membership Requirements
Experience
The equivalent of completing at least two 8-week pottery classes (or similar experience) is required.
Independent Studio Work
Must be capable of working safely and independently without direct supervision.
Fundamental Skills
A solid understanding of the basics of clay, including hand-building, wheel throwing, trimming, glazing, and recycling clay.
Community Studio Policy
At our studio, kindness and respect are non-negotiable. Be nice to others, take care of the space, and show up as your best self—no exceptions!
Willingness to Help Out
Pottery is a team sport, especially in a community studio! All hands are always on deck when it comes to keeping things clean and organized. Members should be willing to help around the studio as needed. Members are expected to embody and promote our creative, supportive, encouraging, welcoming, and fun vibes! Respect for oneself, others, and the studio—including tools and materials—is a must.
