Welcome to Molly Sanyour Ceramics Studio!
Located in the heart of Adair Park in Atlanta, we’re a curriculum-focused pottery studio supporting makers at every stage of their clay journey. Whether you’re brand new or refining your skills, you’ll find a structured, welcoming space where creativity thrives and technique takes center stage.
When you join an 8-week class, you can drop in to any other class of your same level to review a lesson or make up a missed session. Our weekly curriculum keeps you on track, and all materials, tools, and firing fees are included.
We’re known for our step-by-step teaching style, encouraging community, and beautiful new space with top-notch equipment — plus Open Studio Sundays (12–2 PM) for connecting with fellow makers, picking up work, and enjoying the creative vibe.
8-Week Clay 101
Brand new to clay? Need a refresher?
Clay 101 is all about mastering the basics — wheel throwing, handbuilding, trimming, and glazing — in a fun, beginner-friendly space. No experience needed!
Take it as many times as you like to strengthen your skills, try new projects, and build confidence, with time for personal work along the way.
8-Week Clay 102
Already know the basics of throwing and hand building?!?
Clay 102 is your next step! This 8-week class builds on your foundation in throwing, trimming, and glazing while introducing new techniques — this session’s focus is pouring vessels (think pitchers, teapots, and creamers!). You’ll also have dedicated time for personal projects and creative exploration. Let’s level up your skills together!
8-Week Clay 103
Ready to work independently?
Clay 103 is for students who’ve taken at least two of our 8-week classes and are confident on their own. Spend the entire session on personal projects, with weekly check-ins, feedback, a midway critique, and a final art show celebration. No technique lessons — just time to bring your vision to life.
